Product Description

Light-cured anti-corrosion steel pipes utilize a UV‑curing anti-corrosion coating process, supported by an infrared heating and rotary spraying system, enabling the formation of a uniformly thick protective coating on the pipe surface. Following UV curing, a highly crosslinked protective film completely isolates the steel substrate from corrosive media. The coating formulation incorporates titanium dioxide nanoparticles and layered double hydroxides, endowing it with self‑healing properties that automatically repair minor damage, thereby extending the service life of the pipeline.

The product is solvent-free and cures at room temperature, with volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions kept below 5 g/m². It leaves no solvent residues and meets stringent hygiene standards for potable water and food‑grade applications. Its typical service life in normal environments ranges from 30 to 50 years, extending to 20–30 years under harsh conditions involving high salinity or acidic media. Compared with conventional corrosion‑resistant piping, it offers stable corrosion performance, lower operation and maintenance costs, and environmental friendliness, making it widely used in municipal water supply, wastewater treatment, chemical processing, and oil‑and‑gas transmission projects.

Product Overview

Light-cured anti-corrosion steel pipelines are manufactured using advanced ultraviolet‑curing coating technology. The production line integrates photopolymerization processes with high‑performance anti-corrosion materials, delivering long‑lasting, durable performance. The coating process employs infrared high‑temperature heating and rotary spray equipment to ensure uniform coating distribution; following UV curing, the pipeline’s corrosion resistance is significantly enhanced. The coating formulation incorporates titanium dioxide nanoparticles and layered double hydroxides, enabling self‑healing of surface defects in corrosive environments and extending the service life of the pipeline.

Working Principle and Coating Composition

Core protection is achieved through a photocurable protective coating: under UV irradiation, the photosensitive components within the coating undergo photochemical reactions to generate reactive free radicals, which drive the complete crosslinking and polymerization of the reactive resin, forming a dense, solid barrier that isolates the steel pipe substrate from various corrosive media.
