Product Overview
Eccentric reducers feature an asymmetrical conical design, with the centerlines of the two pipe ends offset from one another, and are specifically designed for use in horizontal piping systems. The straight‑sided configuration helps prevent the accumulation of gas or liquid, thereby avoiding blockages and ensuring continuous, smooth flow of the process medium.
Production Process and Specification Parameters
Our factory employs the same well-established forming process as for concentric reducers, enabling production across all sizes and wall thicknesses.
Flow range: DN10–DN3400 (seamless type: DN15–DN1200; welded type: DN200–DN2000)
Wall thickness grades: the entire SCH series, heavy‑wall XS, extra‑heavy XXS; custom maximum wall thickness up to 150 mm.
Custom non-standard dimensions and specifications are available upon request.
Applicable Materials and Implementation Standards
Available materials include carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, and low‑temperature steel; products comply with ASME B16.9, Chinese national standard GB, German standard DIN, Russian standard GOST, and Japanese standard JIS. For highly corrosive environments and extreme operating conditions, special materials such as nickel‑based alloys are also available.
Quality Control and Surface Treatment
Each eccentric reducer undergoes rigorous quality inspection, including metallographic examination, HIC/SSC testing for resistance to hydrogen sulfide (specifically designed for sour service conditions), and shot blasting. Surface treatments such as anti-corrosion paint, 3LPE coating, and hot-dip galvanizing can be customized to meet specific application requirements.
