Product Overview
Our factory specializes in the custom manufacturing of JCOE large-diameter, straight-seam submerged-arc welded steel pipes that fully comply with the ASTM A671 industry standard. These pipes are produced using steel plates specifically designed for pressure vessels and are fabricated by electric‑fusion welding with filler metal. They exhibit stable mechanical properties under both ambient and ultra‑low‑temperature cryogenic service conditions, and all welds undergo 100% full‑length radiographic inspection.
ASTM A671 steel pipes are widely used in cryogenic LNG transmission pipelines, high-pressure petrochemical process pipelines, power plant boiler piping, and offshore platform structural piping systems.
Complete standardized production process flow
All steel plates used for large-diameter, straight-seam submerged-arc welded steel pipes undergo full‑plate ultrasonic testing to detect and eliminate internal defects before being put into production. The edges of the steel plates are double‑sided milled on edge‑milling machines to ensure compliance with tolerances for edge parallelism and weld groove dimensions. Specialized pre‑bending equipment is employed to form uniform arcs along the plate edges, facilitating subsequent forming and fitting.
