Product Introduction

Hebei Hengtong Pipe Fitting Group adopts world-leading JCOE LSAW steel pipe production technology and focuses on the production of large-diameter LSAW steel pipes. The production line is equipped with PID automatic continuous J-C-O forming technology, featuring high production efficiency, stable product quality, uniform internal stress and ultra-precise dimensional tolerance control.

The equipment supports fast and simple mold replacement to cover a complete range of specifications. We produce longitudinal submerged arc welded pipes with outer diameters from 406.4mm to 1422.4mm, wall thicknesses from 6mm to 50mm and single lengths ranging from 3m to 12.5m. Available steel grades include ordinary carbon steel, special steel and low-alloy steel up to X80 grade, with an annual output capacity of 150,000 metric tons.

European piling pipes are produced via two mainstream forming technologies with different features and applicable scenarios.

Cold-formed welded pipes: Manufactured by cold bending hot-rolled steel plates, followed by HFW or SAW welding. Wall thickness: 4mm-25mm, outer diameter: 219mm-2032mm. Mainly used for medium & small pile foundations, foundation pit support piles and urban building foundation piles.

Hot-formed welded pipes: Formed by hot bending steel plates above 900°C before welding, featuring deep weld penetration and excellent toughness. Wall thickness: 8mm-50mm, outer diameter: 610mm-3048mm. Ideal for large-scale foundation piles and offshore wind turbine foundation projects.

Guidance on quality inspection for European piling pipes

Appearance & dimensional check

The pipe surface shall be free of cracks, delamination and pits. Anti-corrosion coating surfaces have no blisters, peeling or missing coating, and no warped coating edges. All dimension data shall be measured to meet standard tolerance requirements.

Weld quality test

Welds are the key weak part of pipe piles. Complete non-destructive test reports are provided for all products. Spot magnetic particle inspection is also available: spray magnetic suspension on welds; qualified pipes show no obvious magnetic trace defects.
